Two of our members, John and Anne Thomson, run the Gite “The Barn at Vijon”. They arrived in France in 2005 and for many years ran a successful Chambres d’hotes business “Chez Thomson” in the Creuse. In 2012 they moved to Vijon and now are very proud to present The Barn at Vijon – a detached, fully renovated barn providing quality self-catering accommodation in the heart of rural France.
“The Barn at Vijon” is a self catering accommodation located midway between Sainte Severe Sur Indre (to the north) and Boussac (to the south) in the small rural commune of Vijon.
Here you will discover a different pace of life. Quiet country lanes ideal for walking or cycling, lovely views at every turn, nearby towns with plenty to see and do, lakes with swimming and ZipWire adventures along with many Chateaux and Churches. Many guests tell us that it is one of the best places they have stayed in France!
