Amitiés Internationales du Pays de Boussac

La cérémonie du 14 juillet a permis de remettre quelques décorations à plusieurs pompiers boussaquins.

À l’issue de la cérémonie officielle, le maire Franck Foulon a laissé au lieutenant Christophe Chandion le soin de diriger cette remise de médailles. Le premier décoré a été le médecin commandant Philippe Dagard, qui a reçu sa médaille échelon or des mains de Franck Foulon, pour 30 années de service.

Le deuxième médaillé était l’adjudant-chef Mustafa Ozcelik, décoré lui aussi pour 30 ans de service. Catherine Graveron, conseillère départementale, lui a épinglé la décoration. Le chef de centre de Boussac, le commandant Philippe Courtin, a remis la médaille échelon bronze au 1re classe Yohan Desaix pour 10 années de service.

Les pompiers boussaquins ont ensuite proposé un défilé avec tous les véhicules (certains sont très récents) depuis le centre jusqu’au hall de l’agriculture. Le maire a félicité tous les pompiers du centre boussaquin.

Le commandant Philippe Dagard a terminé en évoquant sa retraite de médecin-pompier. Durant ces 30 années, il a vu beaucoup de changements. En cas de grosse épidémie, style Covid, il sera présent pour donner un coup de main.

The 14 July ceremony was an opportunity to present several decorations to firefighters from Boussac.

At the end of the official ceremony, mayor Franck Foulon handed over the medal presentation to lieutenant Christophe Chandion. The first to receive a medal was Philippe Dagard, the medical officer in charge, who received his gold medal from Franck Foulon for 30 years’ service.

The second recipient was Chief Warrant Officer Mustafa Ozcelik, who also received his medal for 30 years’ service. Departmental councillor Catherine Graveron pinned the decoration on him. Boussac centre commander Philippe Courtin awarded the bronze medal to 1st class Yohan Desaix for 10 years’ service.

The Boussac firefighters then led a parade of all their vehicles (some very recent) from the centre to the agriculture hall. The mayor congratulated all the firefighters from the Boussac centre.

Commandant Philippe Dagard finished by talking about his retirement as a firefighter. Over the past 30 years, he has seen a lot of changes. In the event of a major epidemic, such as Covid, he will be on hand to lend a hand.
