Recent news stories have told us how important bees are to us, but are you aware of what is important to them? If we really want to help save the bees we need to look at what we do for them, with them and from their point of view.
To encourage growth of healthy bees we need to offer them a natural habitat where they can be left undisturbed, store their honey for themselves and grow healthily.
For anyone who would like to know more about bees and/or is thinking about having a beehive in the garden. Adam Wright and Karin Maassenwill come to Boussac to give a lecture about bees, hosted by AIPB and CustosApiumand we’ll explain what is actually going on in a beehive.
We will talk about how bees live in nature, how they function, what is important for the bees, and how, knowing what they need, and don’t need, we can help them be strong and healthy so they can survive. This is not about beekeeping, but about bees, and looking after them. We will have a look at our hives and answer your questions about bees and bee centric beekeeping.

Des articles récents nous ont dit à quel point les abeilles sont importantes pour nous, mais savez-vous ce qui est important pour elles ? Si nous voulons vraiment aider à sauver les abeilles, nous devons examiner ce que nous faisons pour elles, avec elles et de leur point de vue.
Pour encourager la croissance d’abeilles saines, nous devons leur offrir un habitat naturel où elles peuvent être laissées intactes, stocker leur miel pour eux-mêmes et grandir sainement.
Pour tous ceux qui aimeraient en savoir plus sur les abeilles et/ou qui envisagent d’avoir une ruche dans le jardin. Adam Wright et Karin Maassenviendront à Boussac pour donner une conférence sur les abeilles, animée par l’AIPB et CustosApiumet nous expliquerons ce qui se passe réellement dans une ruche.
Nous parlerons de la façon dont les abeilles vivent dans la nature, comment elles fonctionnent, ce qui est important pour les abeilles, et comment, sachant ce dont elles ont besoin et ce dont elles n’ont pas besoin, nous pouvons les aider à être fortes et saines pour leur survie. Il ne s’agit pas d’apiculture, mais d’abeilles et de leur entretien. Nous jetterons un coup d’œil à nos ruches et répondrons à vos questions sur les abeilles et l’apiculture apicole.
