Amitiés Internationales du Pays de Boussac

Following our fund raising events in 2018, we were able to make a further two donations this week to our local community in Boussac.

The first was to the the retirement home (l’EHPAD) in Boussac, where we were able to provide them with a wireless microphone set comprising two wireless microphones and receiver, in addition we purchased a digital projector complete with large projection screen. Also a much needed special hair washing sink for their hairdressing room.

The residents were very thrilled to receive these gifts and the emails of thanks from the director and facilitator, below, confirms this.

Our second donation was to the primary school in Boussac, we were able to donate €250 to their 2018/19 science project to learn more about space. The children aged between 8 and 11 years old will be able to participate in an organised star and planet session during an evening in March, the money enables them to have an astronomer on site to help them with their studies.

Again a very worthy donation which was greatfully received by the headmistress of the school, Mme Moinaux.
