In 2018 AIPB wanted to say a big THANK YOU to the Sapeur-Pompiers in Boussac, for the hard work they do keeping our town safe, not only in case of fire but also in case of medical emergencies. Three of our members have had to call upon them for a medical emergency in recent years, two of them potentially life threatening situations, because of this it made us realise just how fortunate we are to have such a great service in our town.
Before the presentation, which was attended by 12 members of our Committee, the Pompiers gave us an insight into their vehicles and equipment, the roles they perform and the varied emergencies they are called to.
Wendy, our English co-president, and Angela our donation coordinator presented them with a new large screen television and coffee machine for their rest room so that they can better relax between call-outs.
During the presentation, the thanks of both the French and International communities of Boussac were expressed.
AIPB and its members present these gifts to you to say a big thank for keeping Boussac safe and helping us with our medical emergencies. Some of our members have need your emergency medical assistance in the last few years and for that we are very grateful.
You deserve to rest between emergencies in the best way possible, therefore we hope this TV and coffee machine will make your rest room more enjoyable when you are able to use it.
Again thank you from the French and International communities of Boussac.
